2026 Legislative Priorities Achieved

HEA 1001: Expands Indiana’s housing supply and drives down costs of home ownership by rolling back costly regulations that impede development.

HEA 1003: Transfers building codes from the commission to a state agency & requires code changes be authorized by the Indiana General Assembly.

HEA 1210: Grows housing inventory by expanding the tax deductions for model & spec homes and prohibiting caps on single-family rental properties.
